Laura Morton, AIA

For over a decade, through involvement, Laura has strived to improve her Atlanta community and AIA chapter. Her career has centered on historic preservation and adaptive reuse projects, aiming to keep history alive in all its truths while also being a champion in her firm’s progressive initiatives. Her professional passions focus on reestablishing architects’ value in society, given our responsibility to protect building users’ health, safety, and welfare. With value understood, the profession can be better compensated, and employers would have financial means to support career development, diversity initiatives, competitive pay, and work/life balance that decreases burnout.
