Paul Van Slyke, AIA

Paul was born in New York, moved to Virginia in high school and came to Atlanta to attend Georgia Tech for architecture. He wanted to be an architect all his life and first joined the AIA as a student at Georgia Tech. Paul recognized that Atlanta was a great, growing city while at Tech, and that prompted him to stay and continue his pursuit of architecture here. He worked at a couple of smaller firms but then found a great home at Nix Mann Architecture, where he learned a tremendous amount about the practice from Lewis and Henry. From there, Paul went out on his own to start Goode Van Slyke Architecture with his partner Chris Goode. They have been in business now for 28 years with no end in sight.
