Martin Luther King Jr. Library

An interior renovation of an adaptive-reuse tenant space, the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library of the Fulton County Library System is a 4,224 sf facility that, in its reimagined form, provides resources and a collection comparable to those of a stand-alone facility twice its size. The design added significant programming capacity to the facility while seeking to better connect with the local community and context, to honor the man for whom the facility is named, and to celebrate the still-thriving community that made him who he was.
