Join us for the neighborhood premiere of America ByDesign, a national television series that showcases powerful projects by AIA members.
Before these stories air on CBS and stream to audiences across the world, we’re screening them right at home. You’ll also get to hear from ByDesign Executive Producer Mike Chapman.

Ponce City Market
Choate + Hertlein Architects
Ponce City Market is the rehabilitation of the historic Atlanta Sears Roebuck & Company distribution center. It quickly becoming a must-visit destination with shops and restaurants located in the lower levels and class-A offices and residential apartments occupying upper floors.

Ten 5 Summerhill
XMETRICAL
The project design reflects shifting expectations and needs for contemporary urban dwellings with a focus on reduced scale living infilled with higher proportions of outdoor and active spaces. The building fully occupies and opens onto the street along the corner lot’s entire public perimeter to help reactivate Summerhill’s primary corridor.

Trees Atlanta
Lord Aeck Sargent
Located on a three-acre brownfield site, the new headquarters features two new buildings knitted within a framework of regenerated ecological habitats including a wet/dry meadow, seepage wetland, oak/pine/hickory forest and mesic “tree trail.”

Furkids Cat Shelter
BLUR Workshop
The new campus for Furkids serves as the main cat shelter and adoption location for the largest no kill animal shelter in the Southeast. This building not only serves as the main adoption outlet but also includes a cat café, multifunction event/open adoption space, and incorporates interactive, educational components as well.

Ramblin' Reck Garage
Square Feet Studio
The Ramblin’ Reck Garage is a display pavilion and working garage housing ‘The Reck,’ a 1930 Ford Model A Sport Coupe that has served as Georgia Tech’s mascot since 1961.
