The increasing frequency of extreme weather events, such as tornadoes, hurricanes, heat waves, and droughts, poses significant challenges for municipalities and building owners across the United States. The construction industry, including manufacturers, architects, and engineers, recognizes the need for resilient structures that can withstand natural forces like high winds, flooding, and wildfires.
Fiber cement architectural wall panels, which can be used as rainscreens, are one effective solution. This course will discuss the impacts of extreme weather, the importance of building resilience, and how these high-performance wall panels can help.
