AIA’s CE program is widely recognized for meeting continuing education requirements in nearly every licensing jurisdiction. All courses must be approved by AIA for credit.
AIA Atlanta’s annual patrons are invited to present as an included benefit, while non-patrons may present for a fee due upon acceptance (see FAQ below).

Interactive Learning Experiences — In-Person
Present an interactive course, workshop, training, tour, or other hands-on experience to a captive audience.
Learn Over Lunch — Virtual
Engage members from the comfort of your office with a traditional webinar. Sessions are typically scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Who can present?
Annual patrons can present as part of their patron benefits. Non-patrons are also welcome to present and are subject to the fees below.
How do I get started?
Submit a course submission form with your presentation type (virtual or in person) and course details. AIA Atlanta staff will confirm availability and follow up with next steps.
Does my course need to be approved before I submit?
Yes. Courses should be approved by AIA National for HSW credit before submission, independent of AIA Atlanta. In some cases, the chapter can offer support with the approval process, pending staff availability. This support may carry a separate fee.
What if AIA Atlanta submits and manages my course approval?
For courses that AIA Atlanta submits to and has approved by AIA National, the chapter can manage registration and reporting on your behalf.
Does my course qualify?
Only courses eligible for HSW (Health, Safety, Welfare) credit are accepted.
How much lead time do I need?
Six weeks minimum before your session date.
What does AIA Atlanta handle on the marketing side?

Catering, for in-person sessions. You’re also responsible for securing a venue if you don’t use the AIA Atlanta office.
How do I become a patron?

When is payment due?
Non-patron fees are due upon acceptance of your course.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Fees are nonrefundable. The chapter will do its best to accommodate schedule changes with advance notice.
Will my session be recorded?
For sessions where AIA Atlanta manages registration and the platform, we ask for the ability to record your session for future use in AIA Atlanta’s online course offerings.
What AV is available at the AIA Atlanta office?
The conference room has a large TV with HDMI connection. Microphones aren’t needed given the room size. The space can be set up conference, theater, or classroom style, depending on your session.
